That Which Grows Where No One Sees
Konstepidemin Pannrummet, Gothenburg, March 21 to April 13, 2005
In the raw and industrial atmosphere of Pannrummet, something unexpected emerges—a landscape formed from discarded or lost objects coming together, seemingly creating new life.
An umbrella, a cane, lamps, and other abandoned objects appear to awaken and blend into unexpected, humorous, and occasionally absurd combinations. Here, nature and the discarded meet in playful and mysterious transformations, blurring the boundary between the human-made and the organic.
In the dim light, these objects reveal fragments from a forgotten or hidden world, one where nature patiently reclaims what we've left behind. It's a narrative about cycles, reclamation, and imagination in the unseen. What happens when we turn our backs, and our seemingly lifeless creations start to interact, forming new stories? Perhaps they embrace, merge, or balance in curious harmony.
